To build a secure, prosperous, educated, and economically empowered Zamfara Central where every citizen has access to opportunities, quality representation, and the dividends of democracy.

MISSION

To provide effective legislative representation, attract federal opportunities, champion people-oriented policies, and promote sustainable development across all communities within Zamfara Central Senatorial District.

STRATEGIC PRIORITY AREAS

1. SECURITY AND PEACEBUILDING

Security remains the foundation upon which all development efforts depend. The persistent challenges of banditry, kidnapping, and rural insecurity have negatively impacted livelihoods, agricultural productivity, and social stability across Zamfara State.

As Senator, Dr. Maituta will:

Advocate stronger federal intervention in addressing insecurity across Zamfara State.

Support legislation that strengthens the operational capacity of security agencies.

Promote community-based security initiatives and intelligence gathering.

Encourage rehabilitation and reintegration programmes aimed at addressing the root causes of violent extremism and criminality.

Facilitate increased support for victims of insecurity and displaced communities.

Advocate policies that enable farmers and traders to operate safely and productively.

2. EDUCATION AND HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT

No society can achieve sustainable progress without investing in education.

The Maituta Agenda will focus on:

Supporting educational infrastructure across primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions.

Promoting girl-child education and reducing school dropout rates.

Facilitating vocational, technical, and digital skills training.
